Dr. Tamara Macdonald was raised on a farm near Bonnyville, AB. She started as an undergraduate at the U of A in 2015, and then moved south to Calgary in 2017 to procure her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

She graduated in the spring of 2021, and then joined LAH soon afterwards.

Dr. Macdonald and her husband, Tyler, share their home with two cats, Ellie and Arnold, whom they saved from a busy intersection.

Dr. Macdonald works with all species and is passionate about providing quality patient care and passing on important knowledge in regards to continued home care. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and pursuing physical fitness.
